The Kitchen Staff is responsible to perform all assigned aspects of SMA food service and kitchen operations, and may be required to operate a motor vehicle in the delivery of food pursuant to their assigned location’s catering operation. This is a direct service position interacting with clients who are potentially dangerous, and/or diagnosed with one or more emotional, mental or substance abuse disorders. The Kitchen Staff works under the managerial direction of the Executive Chef. *Pay starts at $16/hr*

The Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) performs a variety of client support and unit operational duties. The BHT's duties may include client monitoring, searches of clients, inventory of client belongings, assistance with client triage and discharge, client transfer between units and programs, transport of clients, implementation of the program daily schedule, and the collection of vital signs and UAs when necessary. The BHT demonstrates compassion, an understanding of the nature of behavioral health illnesses, and the ability to engage clients with mental health illnesses, substance use disorders, and co-occurring illnesses. The BHT helps to provide a safe and therapeutic environment by interacting in a warm, compassionate manner and de-escalating clients when necessary, while always promoting client achievement of treatment plan goals and objectives.

The primary duty of this position is to provide supervision to the Mobile Response Team in Marion County. The Mobile Response Team (MRT) will functions 365 days per year, 24 hours per day, 7 days per week, including during natural disasters such as hurricanes. The MRT supervisor oversees day to day operations of the program, monitoring compliance of documentation and performance of the staff and provides clinical supervision as related. The supervisor will be an active member of the team, expected to respond to mobile crisis calls and be a part of on-call rotation. The supervisor will be required to monitor performance measures and adhere to contractual requirements of the program.
