The Screener is responsible for responding to emergency and walk-in cases at their assigned location. Responsibilities include triaging and assisting in accessing treatment services; completing screenings to include diagnostic and treatment recommendations for the court system, Child Welfare system, probation system, and other providers in the area; and coordinating with other agencies to assist the client's needs. The Screener will provide professional clinical services to all assigned clients in an outpatient setting who are experiencing problems with substance abuse and/or mental health. Services may be provided to children, adolescents, and(or) adults with mental health and(or) substance abuse issues and who also may be in psychiatric crisis. Services may be provided in jail or in a psychiatric inpatient The Screener is expected to perform a minimum number of units of service per month.
The Florida Assertive Community Treatment (FACT) Team Lead is responsible for providing leadership and direction to the FACT Team. The Lead is responsible for planning and overseeing new initiatives, ensuring collaboration with internal and external customers, monitoring and directing clinical program activities, participating in program budget development, and managing expenditures. Responsibilities also include management of program access and operations to ensure continuity with other SMA departments, supporting Performance Improvement, consulting on numerous committee components, and ensuring development of procedures in compliance with state, federal and local laws, rules, and regulations. The Lead will ensure compliance with stated program objectives, and is responsible for delegating, scheduling and coordinating care to ensure the best possible client outcomes. The incumbent must have the ability to evaluate and manage complex situations; provide leadership to program staff; and make recommendations consistent with the Strategic Plan and the needs of the client population.

The Kitchen Staff is responsible to perform all assigned aspects of SMA food service and kitchen operations, and may be required to operate a motor vehicle in the delivery of food pursuant to their assigned location’s catering operation. This is a direct service position interacting with clients who are potentially dangerous, and/or diagnosed with one or more emotional, mental or substance abuse disorders.
